I've been married for over three years now and I still don't have a child yet. When I get married three years ago, having a child was not yet on my plan. I wasn't ready for responsibilities yet at that time. I can't see myself carrying a baby and waking up in the middle of the night to take care of the baby. I can say that I wasn't really ready at that time. But now....I learned that I felt jealous when my friends show their pictures on friendster with their child. I felt jealous when my friends have a a good smile with their baby. I felt like I wanted to have one too but the question is, Am I ready to have one? Will I be a good mother? Am I ready for the responsibilities? I think I'm selfish just to think of myself. I'm afraid I can't roam around anymore once I have a baby. I'm afraid I can't go with my friends anymore to have nightlife when I go back to Philippines. Maybe I am really selfish or maybe I am not yet ready...I dunno...

Hi.
I think your questions are normal, it sounds like me before having my daughter.
If you have this type of fears it´s because you are conscious of the many responsabilities women have when become moms.
I took 6 years to decide, lol.
I wanted to enjoy life first but it´s up to each person to decide.
A good Wednesday. Cheers.
Hi What a sensible questions.
I think it's a pity you feel jealousy. I hope you're happy for your friends too.
Having a bay comes with lots of responsibilities and the smiles are not quite in balance with all the investment. Unless you don't mind being up all night, wash dirty bottoms, give up your social life and simplify your language to dodido for quite some time.
Being a mom is meeting another part of yourself and helping another person to become a grown up human being.
You might get a child with special needs...are you ready for it all?
It's your choice! when i get married, i did not hesitate to have a baby. Now i have one month old baby girl. I am so proud of her. for me, my baby is the greatest gift that i ever received.I love taking care of her all the time even if i wake up at the middle of the night. It's because i am ready for it.
Before i was jealous too but now i feel so great! It's not easy though especially during pregnancy and labor but it's worth it.
you will see that once your baby is there, you will have a complete happy family and after all you can think nga "NAA JUD DIAY KA MATRIS" kay makaanak man ka.
speaking of socializing or laag no need to give it up oi as long as your baby is buotan.. ako bahala asa ko laag dala dala naku ako baby kay wa jud pud kurat si Baden ay..
tuod, tag you here iha.. ayaw ipsot ha kit a jud kos u posting
This is also a question for myself. I've been married for almost 2 years now but having a baby is not yet in our plans. We wanted everything prepared for the baby, physically, emotionally and financially. We wanted our baby to have a comfortable life, we want our little angel to have our full attention, time and love. That's why we're enjoying every moment as a couple today. Just take your time, I, too, feel a little bit jealous if I see our friends with their babies but we'll have ours in God's own time. =)
