The "U" In Jesus

Let me share with you this beautiful and meaningful poem I found online.

Check out Small Business Loans for business financial problems.

The "U" in Jesus

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God even stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan.
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all -Just like I love U."

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know
But it all starts with U.

God Loves You

Does He really love me? That was my question a few months ago.

Few months back, I have never been to church, coz I felt bad and ashamed to face God after what I've done and said. Recently, I go back to His arms coz I know that I cannot make it through this life without Him and His guidance.

Those days that I've never visited God's house and just call him every once in a while, He reminded me, how good He was to me and how much He loves me. Everytime my husband and I went out for grocery shopping, we always passed a christian church and they have a sign board that says: God Loves You. And everytime I saw the said sign board, I felt guilty inside...

God loves me. I know how much He loves me. I know he loves me when He gave me a very good and loving mother who taught and guide me the right path. He gave me a very understanding and supportive husband. I have my beloved family that loves me as much as I love them. I have true friends that never leave my side when I needed them. Above all that, God heals my broken heart. He's always there to comfort me when I'm in pain. All I can say to Him is, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Staying Alive

Live, laugh, love - that's how life should be.

Let me share with you a line from one of the Korean drama that I watched. Since the time I got addicted to Korean dramas, this is my first time to hear such line that I can relate to. As I have mentioned many times on my previous posts that I lose my mother and my brother not too long ago.

This line was delivered by the lead actor Hyun Bin in the drama Snow Queen. He said this line when the lead actress was about to end her life because she was too tired of living from depression, sadness and she was tired of being lonely.

" I won't ask you what was wrong or why you had to do this,
but I'm asking you to live. Even if dying is better than living,
still, live. Staying alive is better. Live and regret, live and suffer."

I came to the point in my life when I think that dying was better than living, but I still live, because I know that staying alive is better than dying without fighting. In life, there will be sadness, frustrations, problems, pains, heartaches, loneliness, regrets, sufferings, tears and laughter and most of all there will be happiness. Life goes on and just remember that there will always be a sunshine after the rain.

Life Must Go On...

For the pain that I've been through, for all the problems and trials that I've encountered, I can say that I am stronger now than before. It is really true that tough times will make us stronger. Now, that my brother's gone, I felt the big responsibilities on my shoulder.s I felt that little by little I matured.

I questioned/blamed God for what happened but now that I'm calmed and accepted what God wants for my family, I want to get closer to Him as close as I could. I have no one to run to now or no one to hold to, except Him. I know He has reasons for everything that happened to my family. If it's His will, I would gladly accept it coz I know he won't give me problems that I can't handle and I trusted Him coz I know He loves me so much.

Life must go on....I know for sure that Mama and Manoy (Big Brother) are happy in God's side now. I gotta be good so one day, when my time comes...I can see my love-ones again, up there in Heaven.

God Bless you all!

Drama Quotes

Since I really love watching dramas online (Korean, Taiwanese, Filipino, Japan) I've noticed and jotted down some interesting lines from the dramas I've watched. Let me share some of the quotes/lines to you guys.

Nice men are ugly
Handsome men are not nice
Handsome and nice men are married
Handsome, nice and unmarried men are useless
Handsome, nice, unmarried and rich men are not interested in us
Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us are players
Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us and faithful are homosexuals
Handsome, nice, unmarried, rich men who are interested in us, faithful, straight and who would not lose interest in us even if we made the first moves - those men must have problems!
-My Name is Kim SamSoon (Korean)

"A girl is just too innocent when she is fooled on the first time.
But she is too naive if she is fooled for the second time.
And if she is fooled for the third time, she is simply stupid."
-Fated To Love You (Taiwanese)

"There are people in this world who try to hurt you, but there are also people who get hurt because you're hurt."
-Devil Beside You (Taiwanese)

This last one is not from an Asian drama but this come from a very good movie "Forrest Gump". I've watched this movie maybe 2-3 times already.

"Stupid is as stupid does. "

" I'm not a smart man...but I know what love is."

== CROSSROADS ==

Here's another forward email from my cyber-friend. Just wanted to share this to all.

Sometimes, when I look back and think of all "the could-have beens"in my life, I often wonder: Did I make the right choice? Did I miss a road sign? Am I on the right track? CROSSROADS... They happen all the time - saying goodbye to some, choosing only one. Letting go, holding on...settling for now, but facing what must come...Yes, in life we all reach a crossroad sometime. We make painful decisions and take some risks as we pursue our dreams. But one should not stay at the crossroads too long. For even the birds have to leave their nests sometime and learn how to fly. Life's road is long and rough, and there are stretches when one has to go all alone. And should you meet the CROSS at the road, be consoled. Yes, more often than not, the road less traveled will surely bring you home. Face the light and the shadow falls behind you. Turn your back and the shadows stays in front of you. Indeed, the truth hurts, but it will surely set you free. The bitter pangs of parting will give birth to another moment called growing. So grow on...until it's time for you to move on and face the crossroads again, knowing that God loves you.
Be strong at the crossroads. Embrace the CROSS at the ROAD.
Remember that the Lord is at the cross, at the road, at all your CROSSROADS.

Poem to share...

I said
Amy Louise Kerswell

I said God Im hurt.
And God said I know.

I said God I cry a lot.
And God said thats why I gave you tears.
I said God I get so damn depressed.
And God said thats why I gave you sunshine.

I said God life is so hard.
And God said thats why I gave you loved ones.
I said God my Loved ones dead.
And God said I watched mine nailed to the cross.
I said God your loved one lives.
And God said so does yours.
I said God where are they?
And God said mine is on my right and yours is in the light.

I said God it hurts.
And God said I know

Quotes for Hope

For me this is one of the best quotes I've ever read. Just wanted to share this to all.

"Consult not your fears but your hopes and dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what is still possible for you to do."

[Oliver Wendell Holmes]

Footprints

Here's another story from the site Footprints. I wanna share this story to my readers & friends.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Note:

When we are in pain, when everything seems so wrong and you feel like there's no hope anymore, we always questioned God. We thought God left us during our darkest hour but we are wrong, God is always there..he never leave us, he carried us during our suffering.

A Mother's Love

This is a short inspirational story I got from the website A Mother's Love. It's a nice story and it touched me, hope it will touch you heart as well.

A MOTHERS LOVE

A little boy came up to his mother in the kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper, and handed her a piece of paper that he had been writing on. After his Mom dried her hands on an apron, she read it, and this is what it said:

For cutting the grass: $5.00
For cleaning up my room this week: $1.00
For going to the store for you: $.50
Baby-sitting my kid brother while you went shopping: $.25
Taking out the garbage: $1.00
For getting a good report card: $5.00
For cleaning up and raking the yard: $2.00
Total owed: $14.75

Well, his mother looked at him standing there, and the boy could see the memories flashing through her mind. She picked up the pen, turned over the paper he'd written on, and this is what she wrote:

For the nine months I carried you while you were growing inside me:
No Charge

For all the nights that I've sat up with you, doctored and prayed for you:
No Charge

For all the trying times, and all the tears that you've caused through the years:
No Charge

For all the nights that were filled with dread, and for the worries I knew were ahead:
No Charge

For the toys, food, clothes, and even wiping your nose:
No Charge

Son, when you add it up, the cost of my love is:
No Charge.

When the boy finished reading what his mother had written, there were big tears in his eyes, and he looked straight at his mother and said, "Mom, I sure do love you." And then he took the pen and in great big letters he wrote: "PAID IN FULL".

Note: Show your Mother how much you loved her while she's still around. Tell her that you love her and make her feel how special she is to you.

To my Mama: I love you and I miss you so much. I'll ask God for a miracle. Keep fighting Mama.

--- The Best Gift Ever ---

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.
His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
"With all your money you give me a Bible?"
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...
PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God's blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...

PLS. SEND THIS TO AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.
