~ Words are more important to me...but I still look at the picture too.

Black Friday Shopping

Last Thanksgiving my hubby and I went to Kentucky to spend the holiday there. On our way to my in-laws house, we passed by the Kentucky Oaks Mall, and I saw lots of people outside the Mall in line, waiting patiently for the store to open in a very cold weather and very early in the morning. In my mind, I thought that I couldn’t do it…I don’t have enough patience to wait outside for the store to open while freezing from the cold…No way! I’m not gonna do that.

Thanks to black friday website and they are going to make the black friday shopping much easier now. By simply clicking and browsing on their site, you can buy the things you wanted without having the hassle to stand in line at the store. Isn’t it great news for everyone of us?

One of my favorite stores to visit is the Bass Pro shop since my husband and I love to go fishing and Bass Pro has lots of good products for fishing. And I’m glad that black friday website has the Bass Pro store on their list. It means, I don’t need to go to Missouri on Black Friday where the Bass Pro main branch is located just to shop.

Why Why Rain

Ohhhh Rain..go away!

I'm not talking about Rain-Bi, the lead actor of the korean drama Full House. I'm talking about the rain as in ulan.

It's raining so hard here in my area since dawn until now while typing this entry of mine. It seems like the rain don't want to go away. The roads are currently block because of the flood and our basement has water too.

I hate it when it rain not because I'm afraid to get wet but because it made me sleepy. This rain ruined my plan for today. I left early from work today coz my friends and I planned to go to Barttlesville, OK. Sayang! makalaag na unta ko da!

Beauty Secrets Tag

Just an ordinary day and....

Nothing much happen today so, I really don't have anything to share. As usual, I woke up early AGAIN today and then went to work.

Opppps! I almost forgot, I met a filipina today at work, one of my customer. She's not the kind of a person that is easy to approach with, coz she doesn't smile even if I smiled at her already. Pero nagpabaga jud kos akong dagway, I asked her hubby if she's filipina and her husband said yes. So, I let them know that I'm filipina also (klaro na gud kaayong filipina ky flat gud ug ilong)...then she smiled at me and asked me, if where I lived in Philippines. Gi-ahak nagka nosebleed ko oy, ky maningles man ang kagwang....I thot she was born here in the US, kay speaking dollars man kaayo. Ang hinamfak na mag 3 yrs pa man diay siya diri..nalipong jud ko kadali ay!

Anyway, she gave me her number and she asked if I can call her. I only did chat with her for a lil bit coz I was kinda busy, lots of customer coming in....She said that she might stay here in our town for good coz she just got a job from Cessna aircraft company (the same company where my hubby works)...then she proudly added that she works at the engineering department. Sosyal ang lola!

Quick Post

Hayyyy...my two days off is over. I'm gonna go back to work tomorrow. Waaaaaaaahhhhhhh..feels like, am not looking forward to go to work tomorrow. Seems like two days is not enough for me to be off from work. I really wanted to extend my rest day....Ohh well, I'm done with my laundry today and finished watching Full house for the third time.

I guess, I need to go to bed now so..I can get up early tomorrow.

Aja! Aja! Fighting!

What a day!

It started this morning when hubby got mad coz I woke up late. He set the alarm at around 4:15AM. Before the alarm clock beep, he's already awake. Obviously, the alarm clock is not for him but for me. It became my habit in the morning that when I heard the beep of the alarm clock, I will turn it off....but this morning, I felt like I don't want to get up..so, I turned it off and accidentally back to sleep. When he came back to our bedroom, he saw me sleeping and it was 4:43AM already. He got mad and told me to get up (bwisit katulgon pakow). I don't have a choice but to get up though, coz if not..we will be late at work.

This afternoon, hubby picked me up from my work place. He said, he's hungry and tired and wanted to go home asap...so, we drove backed home but when he was about to parked his truck in the garage, I found out that I lost my hat. I accidentally left it at my work place and there you go...he got mad again hahahaha! We drove back to my work place to get my hat...On our way backed home, he did not talked me...who cares???? hahahaha...I did not talked to him also.

BUT........the unpredictable weather strike around early evening. I was in front of my PC when I heard a very loud thunder ...ayyyy..taslakan pa naman ko og t-storms kaha. Di ta ko makigtingog sa akong laki..napugos nalang no-on ko og tingog da....para lang naa ko'y kauban ig dug-dug hehehe..

The picture above is my Mama. The woman who has given me a chance to see how beautiful is the world.

Words are not enough to describe how wonderful is my mother. I am very very much thankful to her for her unconditional love and care. She tried her best to sent me and siblings to school. She tried different things just to earned money, she cooked different kinds of dessert and sell it to the neighborhood so that we can have some money as allowance when we went to school. I've seen all of her sacrifices just for her kids. For me, SHE is the world's greatest MOTHER!

Mama, I've seen so many times how you hold backed your tears when trials came our way. You acted bravely, every time our family has a problem. You may not shed tears in front of your kids but I know and my brothers and sisters knew that deep inside of your heart, you are crying...

Thank you Mama, for the everything you've done for us. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother to us. You taught us so many lessons in life. My siblings and I grown up this way because of you Mama....

Push Baby Push!

It's Spring time..it rains a lot and grass grown really fast. I love spring season, I love the green leaves, the blooming flowers and the outdoors but I hate mowing the grass under the heat of the sun.

Last Sunday, DJ (my husband) decided to mow the grass in the yard coz they are like 8-10 inches tall from the ground. Took him 2 hours to mow the grass coz we're just using the pushing mower. We can't afford to buy a riding mower at this moment of time. Waaaaaahhhhhhhh....we have lots of expenses this days and a credit card to pay by the end of this month, plus the house mortgage, utility bills...waaaaaahhhhhhhhh it's too much for both of us..(kamang jud sa kalisod ang kinabuhi lagi).

Anyway, back to the topic...we have this 1.2 acre of a land in our yard that's why, it took us for over 2 hours to finished mowing the yard. I felt pity looking at my husband mowing so, I offered that I'll help him. I did 2-3 laps then rest..tapos akong laki na pod mopuli...Wahhhh kapoya jud oy!

I signed up for PPP!

A friend of mine has always been encouraging me to submit my blog to PPP blog advertising. Yesterday, I finally submit my blog, hoping that it will be approved. Thank God and this morning when I opened my email, I got a message from PPP saying that my blog has been approved. What a lucky day huh? Thanks a million to my friend Anne for introducing the payperpost blog advertising to me.

I signed up for payperpost blog advertising for the reason that I love to have an extra income, who doesn’t anyway? Extra money is always good, especially now that gas prices are getting higher and higher. Hubby and I can’t visit our favorite fishing spot anymore which is 30 miles from my place since gas is too much this days…we’re budgeting, you know.

What am I going to do with the money I will earn from blogging? Well, I might use it to buy some useful things for my house or I might save it for my incoming trip to Philippines, to visit my family there.

Isn’t it great to meet new friends and at the same time earn money from blogging through blog advertising? If you say yes, then are you waiting for? Go ahead and start blogging now...

Camping & Fishing

It's spring time again and summer will be here soon. To the people who loves outdoors, for sure they love this season coz it's time to go fishing and camping again.

My husband loves outdoors too...he go fishing a lot. He usually spend his day off in the lake, trying to catch fish but he's not that lucky all the time. For his love of fishing that's why he convinced me to go fishing with him. The first time I try fishing, I was very lucky coz I caught one and it's a big fish, too bad I forgot to bring my camera that time, I can't really prove it right now that I really caught one.

We tried to go camping too. At first I was afraid coz what if there will be snake on the area where we put our tent or worse there will be wild animals in the middle of the night? It's scary...but honestly, I really liked it. It was my first time to go camping and it was fun fun fun!!! I learned to make a s'more and it was really good. We're planning to go camping again this year and I'm so excited about it..
